In conjunction with the DC Mayor’s Office of Community Affairs, the Convention is conducting Workforce Development and Community Organizing programs within congregations that serve the District’s Asian and Pacific Islander Community. The goal of the program is to train and empower cadres of local leaders to increase employment levels in their communities through the successful creation and management of robust Workforce Development programs.
